Privacy Policy - MK Widget Card.

MK Widget Card is designed to be privacy-first and local-first. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our users.

The app operates primarily by storing data directly on your device. We do not collect sensitive data on our servers unless you use account sync features.

eCard Information: Full name, title, company, email, phone number, website, address, avatar, short bio, and social links.

QR Bank Data: Bank code, account number, and account holder name to generate VietQR codes.

Account Data: If you sign in, eCards, QR Banks, avatars, or eCard images may be stored for synchronization across devices.

Camera: Used when you scan QR codes. We do not store images from the camera other than the decoded QR code content.

Photo Library: Used when you choose an avatar or upload an eCard image from your device.

Contacts: Allows you to save information from scanned eCards directly to your phone's contacts. The app only writes new info when you choose to save and does not read your existing contacts.

Notifications: Used to receive important updates or public system announcements within the app.

Local Storage: All information is stored securely on your device's memory. On iOS, App Groups are used to share data between the main app and widgets.

Account Sync: Uses Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage) to store profiles, presets, and images when you are signed in. Data is transmitted via secure HTTPS connections.

Google Firebase: Provides infrastructure for sign-in, storage of eCard/QR Bank presets, and images.

VietQR: Used to load bank QR images when using the QR Bank feature.

Sign in with Google and Apple: Handles authentication when you choose to sign in with a Google or Apple account, through Firebase Authentication.

Google AdMob: The app may show ads. AdMob may use your device's advertising identifier (Advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. You can reset or limit it in your iOS/Android privacy settings.

mktechvn.com: When sharing an eCard, the app creates a short link (mktechvn.com/c/...) or a link containing the details you chose to make public. Our server also receives the device and sign-in information described in section 2 to secure your account.

QR codes and widgets display the data you entered. Others may see your information if they scan your code or receive a link you shared.

Only enter and share information that you are comfortable making public. You always have control to edit or delete your data.

We do not sell personal data. Device information, IP address, and sign-in history are used only to secure accounts, detect abuse, troubleshoot, and support users, and are visible only to authorized administrators.

The app does not use your data for cross-app tracking by third parties. Ads provided by Google AdMob may use the Advertising ID according to Google's policies and your device settings.

This policy may be updated as the app gains new features. Changes will be updated on this page.
